Rehumanize, Don't Dehumanize

When thinking about automation, what is your frame of reference?


Are you looking at automation as a “zero-sum” game, that is, humans vs. robots? Or how much robots can help to reduce costs and eliminate headcounts?


If so, you might just inadvertently fall into the trap of “thinking small”.


While technologies like AI and automation have irreversibly and dramatically altered the future of work, it is important to recognize the real unlock – that technology enables us to rehumanize our interactions (with customers, employees, etc), and not use technology as a tool to dehumanize the workplace.
